And finally, Transparency International (TI) launched its 2014 Corruption Perception Index this week. TI cites corporate secrecy and global money laundering as the biggest impediments to anti-corruption efforts in emerging economies. However, the Global Anticorruption Blog has criticised the lack of transparency in the report following TI’s decision to obscure details of the methodology and uncertainty around the scores.
